Shorts are suuuuper long. I like em overall but just know they go way over the knee and I am 6 foot 1Usually I’m a 34 but when I hitting the double blacks or some new dirt jump I like to have my pads on underneath so got the 36. With the adjustable Velcro strap on top of waist it doesn’t matter they fit great with or without my armor onAbsolutely love these and will be buying more. I've used em twice and you don't feel em, they don't get in the way. Work great with kneepads on as well!! I wear a 34 and the 34 were a perfect fit. Very comfortable to wear anytime, not just when biking.A little too tight for a 36, all my shorts are same brand and size, this one is smaller; but this helps me to drop a few poundsColor in real life does not match the picture, which shows a blueish-purple short. Real color is greyish with aqua hue. I've had several TLD shorts, all size 34. For some reason this one feels very, very tight. Would return item if I could but cannot return it because I brought with me all the way to Honduras on a job assignment.Great shorts have 4 pairs
